The MATProcess

Muscle Activation Techniques, or MAT, is a BioMechanically based system that addresses muscle dominick-nusedsnutightness & weakness. This system is designed to correct the imbalances in your body that can lead to pain, inflexibility, & limited physical performance. MAT corrects the inefficiencies in your neuro-muscular system & eliminates the “weak links” that would otherwise be magnified by exercise.

During your sessions we focus on turning weak links into useable, functional resources. With MAT we “jumpstart” the nervous system, get all muscles firing optimally, then go back and strengthen the muscles mechanically. MAT does not force change on the body, but works with it to make improvements and create a solid foundation.

The Results

MAT prepares the body to be more efficient in training and athletic performance which results in improved mechanics, pain free motion, and greater freedom of movement. The body will only allow what it can control, MAT restores that control.

If you’re involved in an exercise program, whether it be for general fitness or sport, our bodies need all of the muscles responsible for those movements to perform at their optimal level. If your body is struggling to maintain stability at a specific joint or joints, it will start to compensate. This can lead to tightness, lack of performance, injury, pain, & discomfort. These compensations or imbalances must be addressed before permanent damage to the tissue or bone structure takes place. MAT addresses these issues & “realigns” your Neuro-Muscular system providing your joints more mobility with stability. Which in turn will reduce tightness, help prevent injury, reduce pain, and allow you to function at your best.
